Ostuni is often called the "white city", and not without reason. The old city center consists only out of white houses that stand out beautifully against the blue sky and the Adriatic Sea. In Ostuni, the houses are whitewashed every year, there is even legislation that requires residents to keep the house fresh white. It is wonderful to walk through the narrow streets of the historic center, something of a mysterious labyrinth where you can get lost in a pleasant way. The village, which stands on a hill and is a wonderful example of Mediterranean architecture.

With its rich historical and cultural background, Ostuni is a must-see tourist attraction for the entire area. It was rewarded several times with the Blue Flag for its clear waters and beautiful beaches in the neighboring villages of Rosa Marina and Villanova.
